Top of the hill
|
That was the last week of July, from the top of a hill. And when I say top, it's really the top. A colleague told me there was a path on that one, but it was hard to enter on to say the less! In fact, while walking on a road I never took before, I ended 2 weeks later near the real path to walk in the woods, but I didn't have the time to try it.
So that hill is the one near the hill with the ruins of the castle. Ruins are presented on that medley

and you can recognize the buildings from the same potpourri.
The valley seems large from there, but in fact it's not the case. The other hill you can see is closing that part, to open later on another valley. I was on another closing that side of course. On feet, you can be from one to the other in something like 30 minutes. It's pretty the same time in all directions if you stay between the hills. And the woods on that hill are called "forest of the Virgin"; I visited a part last week, on the other side of the hill.
If you look well near the center of the photo, you can see the rails near the houses. A green path follows it, the path I followed earlier this week.
