Christmas 1933
|
It seems to me the second tapestry was "Christmas 1933" but I maybe make a mistake. Anyway, no matter what is the one of the 3 Christmas tapestries which came in second for the hanging wall, it ended the research of colors for the rest of the works to come. Specially with the red.
Tolkien decided to play "Father Christmas" for his children, and each year, for around 20 years, he sent a letter to them. With often an adventure of Father Chritmas, or his helper, the white bear.
In 1933, the "goblins" attacked in all the Father Christmas' houses. The Elves of Christmas helped the bear to catch or repeal them.
Yep, even in North Pole, you could find a taste of Middle Earth!
