Ix, the Naglfarian captain, was furious. Not only had the Terran escaped its brig but there had been a second ship that could have been sent against Solaris Station to destroy the other bay. Why had no one known?
The bridge crew had not been involved with the attack, capture or imprisonment of the Terran so they mostly just listened with whatever patience they could muster.
The Captain had already deactivated the AI that had delivered the Terran to brig. There was only one operational AI left.
Ix signal the crew back to their stations, directing that the ship be taken out of FTL and redirected back along their course to look for a beacon from the clearly non-FTL ship that had escaped.
