The Forest Recycles Its Own

How i did it: this is using Daz's simulation of dforce. It's two sheets, dropped over the figure. The 2 sheets surfaces are clumps of leaves, the top sheet is yellow leaves, and the bottom is brown leaves, with the diffuse layer giving the color, and the opacity layer making the gaps between the leaves. If you hide the log and the hair before running the simulation, then you can replace them after and they'll be on top of the sheets/leaf pics.

@katster - actually, I hadn't thought about it! I guess so! I was thinking more in the tune of the (fall - rotting - recycle - rejuvenate) cycle than the morbid side, but it could certainly be seen that way! I'm glad you like it :)
@Rainbow - Thank you! If you'd like any more info about settings, I'm happy to share.

Very clever, although a little morbid.. but I like it.

Wow this is awesome. I had no idea you could do things like this in Daz. I may just need to start learning how to use it. Poser has always been the software I've used for character and scene rendering.

A very smart idea and a very well done render.

Thx wizzard. Yep, quicker and easier than lots of real objects. Here's the leaf diffuse (...) and the leaf opacity (...) if you'd like to use them. They're repeating tiles, so under surface you tile the surface as dense as you'd like. (added the links to them above)
