Howler Exported Terrain Test

Today I got PD Howler 10 and was checking out some of its features, mainly looking for the differences from my last version of Project Dogwaffle, which was PD Artist 9. I wanted to see what might be different from the previous one in the 3D aspect of things. I created a 2D image using the Smoky Brush, arranging the splotches to look like a rough map of an Island. This image then needed inverting of the greyscale. Net I went to the Filter Tools, found the Transform submenu and activated the 3D conversion. A window popped up with several things on it and I began exploring those options to see what could be done with them. Down in the lower left of that window I found "Export Wavefront.obj"! Excitement immediately ensued!

So I decided to try it, and I got my generated terrain exported with no trouble. I then closed PD Howler, and launched DAZ Studio, into which I imported the Test Terrain. I had noted that there was a check box in the export dialogue named 'Save UV Coordinates' and the box was already ticked, so I decided to test some of my DAZ Studio shaders on the terrain. I used Dimension Theory's Ground Shaders loading one and tiling it up to 10 in both the horizontal and vertical tile channels of the Surfaces Edit panel. Then I upped the displacement strength.

Next I loaded the old Dystopia City Blocks Skydome, hid the Skyline and Ground plane on it and un-hid its water plane. To get fair looking water I applied T-John's Water Shader. I loaded the Star Trek Axanar D6 Battlecruiser and hovered in just above the water plane. Then I created a distant light. increased its intensity to 130, enabled shadows and edited the settings to my recipe. I rendered the scene at 1600 x 900 px.

Here is the result for all here to see.
