Viking Storm

Ulthbert was the last Survivor of an unsuccessful raid. Many of his men had been caught in an ambush of Scots and mercenary Welsh bowmen shooting from the clifftops near Orkney. The rest succumbed to their injuries or to sickness on their retreat ,leaving him alone to man the longboat that had once carried 30 men. After weeks by himself, Ulthbert finally sighted home in the distance but a sudden storm threatened to dash his tiny ship against the rocks and only his skill will keep him alive.
