Moonbase one

It may happen in a dozen years or it may not happen for a few hundred years, but eventually humans will be living on the moon and on other planets in self contained bases and colonies, at first within our own solar system starting with the moon and mars, and eventually perhaps expanding out to the stars where similar planets to Earth may be found that can actually be travelled to safely and quickly.
