Hades is one of my favorite Greek gods. Not only does he never fail at his job as caretaker of the dead but he is the only god that remains faithful to his wife.
Eldest of the Olympians, tricked by Zeus, ( not OUR Zeus), into taking the realm of the dead. ended up with the bettre part of that bargain. beautiful work Zeus, the disdain comes through the image! Cheers
Great portrait. But he failed once, when Herakles fighted with him and he had to be healed on the Olympus. If his wife didn't intercede for him, he could have ended in worse shape, no matter he was a good!
