Tapestries (3)
|
Beside the all year exhibition, we have also a temporary one each Summer. This year, it's on René Perrot, an artist who made tapestries between 40's and 70's. He made a lot on Nature, specially on owls. Warning: I made my best to do good photos, but there are which are blur; it's due to the light around, like we can't (and it's understandable) use the flash of the cameras.
You can see at the top "Si votre ramage": the "carton" and the tapestry itself.
At the bottom left, "La Nature mesurant le temps". It's the masterpiece of the exhibition according most of visitors. I agree, even if I like another one, a wave made like the ones in Japanese drawnings (unfortunately, the photos are all blur for that wave).
In the middle of bottom, "Mon pauvre coeur est un hibou", the tapestry which gave its name to the exhibition. It's the beginning of a 'poetry' by Apollinaire.
At the bottom right, "Les oiseaux de France".
