Olivia turned onto her street. She was glad that she had left her porch light on.
The street lights for the subsection of the complex in which her house lay had failed earlier in the month and there was still no estimate for when they would be back on.
On most evenings when she returned from work there were many lights showing from the house. Tonight because it was so late there was only hers.
