I need dentist.  Pretty bad.   I get eye doctor every year and prescription glasses also.  I like the photogray fast transition lenses and excellent UV protection.  I would like them even better if they would give me reader spots I can use with the computer screens!  Nope, 6 to 9 inches is IT!  and I like sitting a foot or two back from the screens.  Even my dime store readers put me at 12 inches flat.
Mogwai found something to  :phfft: at.   Yeah.  It is a click beetle, when excited they have a yellow glow to their abdomens.  So they are easy for him to follow as he swats em around on the floors or counters!  LOL!

I was in my late 40's when I put a novel down I was trying to read, but my arms proved too short.  Got up, ran to the nearest drug store and bought a couple pairs of reading glasses.  As big as the lenses were, more like re-entry shields!  But they worked pretty good, and I read Shatners Tek Wars book finally.  Ha!  Been stuck with readers ever since.   But at least I can READ again!  AND inside my arms length!

I'll do what I can to flavor them up, but I have to create new ones, not use existing ones.  Obviously!  I will say, I'LL TRY!   :tearlaugh:
Have you checked your account listing of products at Daz to see if it is in the listing to download it again, what was the name of the file?

I suspect not, as we didn't "purchase" freebies back then, just followed the links and downloaded them.  At least none of freebies that I have from that time are in my DAZ downloads.  Finding the Bone Tentacles was a real trial, for example.

Concerning the old freebies, like where was the Mansion Staircase for example? It's totally disappeared from web now, except one freebie in webarchive. And indeed it was never put in our product library on the new site of Daz.

I remember the discussing of that, and our digging around to find a few of those items we all liked.  I had downloaded the entire listing of those "DAZ Weekly Freebie" items way back years ago.  I keep all my content files.   It is the fact I have only the EXE's that had me looking for new versions, and not finding any zips for those old files anywhere on DAZ site.   I asked Richard Haseltine about the horseshoes years ago, and he said they sort of got discontinued and kind of disappeared with the two Site Upheavals DAZ3D has endured (created!) with changing website software.
Check out this Horse2 Accessories pack:  https://www.daz3d.com/horse-accessories
For Horseshoes, the original file name IS:  ps_fr157b_HorseShoes.exe and ps_fr157b_HorseShoesT.exe
No reference to them even in the forums there!

That being said, Chiron's horseshoes look GREAT, they fit fine, and stay on the hooves when parented correctly.  So it is no disaster if you can't find the old ones.  We have Chiron to thank for his modeling!!

Thank you Chiron!    :yippee:  :woohoo:  :feelgood:

A note about using Chiron's horseshoes on other Figures.   Basically, Chiron's can be adjusted to fit ALL the equines hooves.  Even the MilFoal, Charger Horse, Poser Horse (yes that old nag!).  Then just make copies of the item in your preview area, position each to a hoof, parent to the HOOF, select your main Figure and save it out to your fave animals folder and it will always be properly shod!
Thank you again Chiron!

Et voila McG, easier than expected!

This time I managed to stay below 250 vertices/surfaces  (10% of the previous one), and mesh and textures altogether take less than 260 KB - without degrading appreciably the final results
(The .zip is larger due to a thick .psd larded with textures, template & details)

You'll find more technical stuff in the zipped 'ignore me.txt' I added with a view to the Halloween distribution (i.e. no © constraints for you :winks: ).

What do you think?

OK, I have added this to the Halloween gifts so you all can see the what you will get but no more available until October...I know I am mean :haha:

Aelin, you are right, with this new website software, we did lose MANY old items, even some paid for items were discontinued and have disappeared from our account listing.   Right too, the freebies never got put in the Product Library.  That is for items that have been run through the DAZ Store Cart.  Even the "Free" items go through the Cart.
Exception:  the freebie links in the Forum.

Well I figure that since they are no longer available on the web anywhere, most do not reply when you ask about their lost freebie that if someone wants it, as long as the readme (if one came with it) and all other fiels are still intact -- we should be able to redistribute them to friends but not put on the web.
