i did the doctor was slightly concerned but its already fading i go back to work next week with limitations and a referral to an oncologist for blood work and possible chemo

i do im always walking around this part of town it helps but yesterday i saw a big bruise on my abdomen its already fading but it caught me off guard

the food is overseasoned and they wake u up every two hours to check vitals, blood test , give the occasional tylonol  i got more sleep in one night home last night than four days in the hospital lolon another note i found the fifth incision its a lot longer than the rest and it stings

South African Bread

Some bread anyone?

Mealie Bread

Preparation time:  10 mins
 Cooking time:  40 - 55 mins


  •   375 ml milk 
  •   225 g maize meal 
  •   125 g butter 
  •   3 eggs, beaten 
  •   75 g cake flour 
  •   50 ml sugar (optional) 
  •   20 ml baking powder
  •   10 ml mixed dried herbs or fresh chopped parsley and chives 
  •   1 green pepper, finely chopped 
  •   4 small carrots, grated 
  •   25 ml finely chopped onion 
  •   12 ml mustard powder 
  •   10 ml salt 
  •       pinch of cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 200 ºC. Grease a 20 x 15 cm bread pan and line the base with greaseproof paper. 2. Bring milk to the boil and pour over the maize meal. Add the butter and beat well. Allow to cool completely. 3. Add the beaten eggs to the cooled mixture, mixing well. 4. Add the remaining ingredients and mix. 5. Place dough in prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 40 to 55 minutes until golden brown.

Intriguing have made bread in a bread machine before but this looks nice
