Grabbed bryce about 2 months ago
 and so far hav'nt really used it except as an alternate render engine.

i love to use t for water and sky images...after importing objects you can integrate them into your render too.

Sometimes, sites moved, and one or other people know the new address, mainly for the old sites. For this time, it's the reason which do that i don't remove it lol

No worries sugar -- sometimes mods do not realize this. Unfortunately I even thought 3D Commune would come back but he never did and no idea really if he does anything anywhere else either.

I have not touched Bryce in so long and until now did not realize what got left out in both times I had to reinstall everything...LOL

My friend David Brinnen has a lot of really great video tutorials for Bryce, Wings 3D and Octane on YouTube. A lot of what I have learned about Bryce was from his tutorials. It is why I know as much as I do about Bryce 7.1 Pro.


Case in point:
In this video he shows us how to create a volumetric cloud slab and, from a basic pattern in the materials library, making realistic thick clouds. He shows how to keep the render time down to acceptable duration by a simple trick of dimension changes, and how to reduce unwanted banding effects to practically not visible by changing a certain directional dimension.


There are so many things that can be done quite simply in this video, so have a look and perhaps give this a go and see what you can do!
