I've been running a thin client Win10 on a Raspberry Pi for a while now. Not efficient but it works well enough to play around with.

 A native ARM port for Windows is not just about your browser and search engines as the article mentions but also about "smart" tech and Internet of Things.  ARM chips are in everything including my Pis. Googles huge databases used for machine learning and MS IoT tech powering the devices natively instead of Linux or something similar.
