Any bruising should be reported to your Doctor if you didn't know how it got there.

I have several "old" books on crocheting and seeing those doilies I remember my mom and I sitting down doing a bunch of them. She could do some pretty intricate ones. I do some that were a fancy to me. I still ahve a bunch of them that lived through our bit of living in a rainforest (while the roof leaked so badly).

I still use them too but since she died I find it hard to do the doily thing, could be why crocheting puts me to sleep now.

I tried knitting but one can make a long chain for awhile...could never get the hang of turning or actually making it look like anything.

I have made ponchos, scarves, doilies, caps, small dresses, afghans, bed dolls, jewelry (when I was 18 I taught my co-worker how to crochet and he made necklace for his mom) and potholders (those looked like little dresses), crocheting is fun.
Fear not,
You are never alone,
I am there to comfort and guide you...
Always.

I adore crochet, Tend to do it most of all now. I made a blanket this year for my mum for xmas and it turned out beautifully, I was really happy with it, I'm now working on, well lets see... LOL a baby blanket and a polka dot bag, I can't find patterns for the bag so I'm kind of making it up as I go along ....

I know this is an old thread but I hope the crocheters and knitters are still here. :)

I love to knit (especially socks) and crochet. I'm much better at knitting than crocheting but I recently crocheted these slippers and Infinity Scarf. They were both super quick and the accompanying videos really helped. :)

I admire the persons who make the crochet, because when I tried I did only a sequence of nodes.  :tearlaugh:

I know knitting scarves, bonnets and that's it. Unless you want pullovers in a strange shape.   :psycho:
