Title: Search by username
Post by: DarkAngel on March 08, 2012, 04:55:56 PM: In the gallery we are able to search by username...for those of us that need to see it all...lol
Click images for larger view.

First you click the upper navigation area: search

Enter the name of the artist:

Uncheck all others and place a checkmark on owner name

Click the search button

That is wonderful news. I was wishing I could search for all pictures by user name the other day. Man, wish just a tiny bit around here, and ye shall receive! Thanks for letting us know, DA!

imagine my surprise when I went there to look for the featured and meet artist rooms and found no search method for it...had to find one image by them then click the name...lol

now that is a riot and a half to do...coppermine was very nice to not only give me code to do it again but will be reinstaing that function in further updates...I hope they remember, if not I have the edits in my cheet sheet folder...yay

where server files are concerned...only if I never have to touch them again and am gone for someone else to manage them...mebbe :eyescan:

Anyway, for you or any other member, all you have to do is looking for the latest image loaded in the gallery. If there were too much images since, you can still look into the latest image you commented (or which was commented by the person you are looking for). Once entered, you click on the name you were searching, and you end on the said profil - posted images and posted comments.
For example, your profil is https://www.thefantasiesattic.net/attic/cpg/profile.php?uid=1292

Another way, is you copy the link above, but replace the number at the end by the number of the person you looked for. I think as a member, you have access to the member list in the top of forum. You just pass your cursor above the name you search, and you must find at the end of the url for the person u=xxxx. The numbers being the those to replace. They can be 2, 3 or 4, depending when the member pushed the door of the forum.

Since I wanted to check what images I have posted before, your link did the trick.

I can not however find that page you linked to, on my own. Only via your link. I have clicked every clickable thing under Profile but I can't find any image(s).

How can i get to the same page you linked to, but without using your link?

Post by: DarkAngel on March 16, 2023, 04:21:50 PM: With the uproar and mess with the last hosts, things really got messed up and am working on things. I also noticed it gone and when I asked CPG folks they said it should be there. I still need to go file by file to see which one is being naughty, their suggestion is to just reupload the files to make sure that way......LOL LOL LOL they forget that from going from the older version to this one things did not go as planned. Thye had to come and "fix" the gallery which still was not 100% when they gave up.

Honestly I am scared to death that if I do as they ask then it will die on us again and I will need them to come help again...did not like the problem it gave the last one that helped. But I am working on it.

To find by yourself your profil of gallery link, you have 2 options:
- you remind the most recent images (or from an older which you remind very well one or several words from its name) you commented and go on one to find your name there. Click on, your are on your profil gallery.
- you remind the date of your most recent image, you go on, click on your name and you arrive also on your profil gallery.

Don't worry Mary, with all the dust bunnies around, we always find a plan B.
Perhaps that one was the "eater" from the search mode
