I use to use Ice Packs to lesson the pain and swelling. Worked well.

Long Tongue Prop - 100% FREE is a creation by squarepeg3d. It's a standalone thing for DS4 users, so it can be used on many characters.
It's in Iray.
It's ok for commercial renders, but you can see a little more explanations on what you are allowed to do with in comments.
