Thanks DA!  :so-shy:
But i try to create mat file in Poser, and on a node for "diffuse color", i see an option "autofit": what is this?
I need to check case or not?

I have never seen it checked on any maps I use but after reading the manly manual I finally found a reference to it.

pg. 391

Auto_Fit: Check this option to automatically fit the
texture map to the currently selected material without
tiling.

Took me a while to find it but with all of the questions I have been asking myself about second skin and textures today it was a something that I had to do .... haven't read it in detail mind you but at least I know where to find it now.

I start to read english more longer now, but i can't read all a book. Just chapter after chapter of Paul  :balloons2: But i'm only to 6 or 7 chapters.
Then it's sure the manual isn't for tomorrow. Perhaps the next day :psycho:
But it's sure Poser has more options than Daz. Now, i must find settings for displacement. Otherwise, fun on clothes! I'm the new Jean-Paul Gaultier :psycho:

auto fit sounds good but if the texture file itself you are applying, is not large enough it may stretch it out too much....never knew that was in there so never tried it.

Of course I have not textured since V3 so that does me no good since I know nothing of the advanced tab in mat lab of poser.

Wish there was a simple easy to follow instructions for the advanced tab that explains what the parts are and how/when to use.

Well, I am more intrigued about the concept of making a second skin texture, that image by Margy of the Poison Ivy outfit made me think at first it was a second skin and that started my research.
Although I could also buy the outfit and then use Wardrobe Wizard which is built into Poser to do the cloth conversion.

Best check to see how many of the characters I have installed on this one I know it is properly installed on one of the older version I have ... :sigh: something else to distract me

Wish there was a simple easy to follow instructions for the advanced tab that explains what the parts are and how/when to use.

Nothing is ever simple it took three chapters in the manual just to go over all the parts and pieces of the nodes in the material room and it really didn't give any examples ... :thud: not surprised mind you but man it can be such a pain

The auto fit is ... if I understand it correctly to prevent a texture from tiling across the selected object which is typically not what we want to do with any of the textures we use in a scene.

well, i must start a new time the mc6 file. Because the displacement map was not add in by Poser  :thud: Software saved the node of the texture map, not this of displacement :really:
