I find the 3 packs, and tutorial. Not the "hidden gift", even if magazine talks of this.

2 of paks have Poser folders; and tutorial is in PDF.

I believe you can save each page as a PDF on your computer.  Hit print, save as, PDF.....and put it in your files.  I don't think there is anything else otherwise...at least I haven't found it yet.  But I do have these in PDF by using the method I just mentioned.

Perhaps we shall focus on the pertinent ones.

Well I only found one item this time in there and it is for the G2 female which although it will work in Poser does me no good as G2 is not compatible with Poser except via that abomination

so double :sigh:
Title: Re: Daz magazine
Post by: Aelin on May 02, 2015, 07:29:45 AM
The first pack is for V4. They place DSON too, but actually can work with Poser only. And DS3
You need to sort zips in the zips
Seek "Lorelay" in pages. It's for V4 A4 G4  :yippee:

in zips, you take "Geometries, "character", "Pose" and "textures" (for this it's a special zip) and it's good for Poser.

******
I forget: yes the second pack is for G2F, and no possibility for you, except the DSON.

It seems they have an Iray tutorial for beginners in their pages.

For the moment many freebies  :luvbooks: but only for Daz 4 users  :thud:

*************
Finally they have at least one freebie for Poser users too  Find the "rain of petals" and it's good.
I continue to see if they have others.

If you taken the "Lorelay hair" in the DS magazine 11, you can use the "Lorelay textures" too.

I you like Marines, and have certain products, then perhaps you can use another pack in Poser.

Otherwise, search an "hidden corner" if you prefer bg.

*************
To end, you can find 13 freebie packs in pages of magazine this month. To celebrate the first anniversary of magazine.

Five, if you love the skies. And this time, it's a pack of jpg pictures. "stock images for use in any creative project"

Six is a freebie for G3M

Seven is for V4 A4. Very big pack (67,3Mo!). Available only until 31/12/15 (in little script on the page) This time it's in pz2 format

Eight is a pack of textures. I presume only jpg. But the pack is big (194Mo!), and not end of download for the moment. Answer perhaps in 1 hour!

Yes i know; but really i presume i have less "connection" now, like all ISP want put fiber for all people. Just in many case, you need to pay for this installation. So ISP try to force customers :thud:
In other side, i can have this slow download on Daz site, but more rarely.
Title: Re: Daz magazine

Hmm, just a standard cable modem,  have to pay $54 a month for it and that is all I have is a standard internet service, no bells or whistles.
Title: Re: Daz magazine
Post by: Aelin on January 01, 2016, 10:14:47 AM
I pay for a maxi service (ADSL/high speed) 40€ by month (included phone of house). Around $45 i think in this moment.
Fiber is too new in France, and service is bad for people who decided to take. Frozen web regularly :thud: I have neighbours in this case. The reason for why nobody now wants this.

The less possibility with web/phone is a service with 512ko if i remember. That is in many villages  :OMFG:

I am guessing that a cable modem is still out on the horizon for being made available to you the public.

I don't know, until big problems with ISP i could download big packs in few time. Just a little more hard with .tiff in packs.

Now... Normally it's a pack 3 in 1: web, phone, tv. Less money with trio. But the tv isn't on the box. Never.
We have possibility with a cable or the wifi on box; i have the wifi.

Any case, we are with one train of delay fr all. The 3G isn't ended to install, and they started the 4G installation :thud:

Yesterday, guess what i forgot? Yes, DS Creative 20 (http://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_20)

When i'll find packs, i will try to say you if they are for Daz and Poser, or only for DS4.

*********
Edit:

First pack, are you ready for summer? Look for Sixus1, and you have a pack for Poser and Daz users.

Second pack, it's for G3F, so only DS4 users.

You're welcome both! And for once, between failures of ISP i could download in few minutes  :OMFG: Well, it's true also they are little packs compared to usually.

Since yesterday, the DS Creative 21 (https://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_21) is online.
I start the hunt, and will edit this message to give you clues.

Are you ready for 2 packs on the same pages? More exactly 2 weapons?
The bad new is they are for DS4 users

Another pack is a kind of effects for DS4 users.

A dagger... for DS4.

I'm in there now.  I raided RDNA last night and got all of my stuff and then attacked the freebie section....It went pretty fast....Got more to go...but made a dent in it...and made my external suffer..... :java:

Alreay all your orders? Good timing in this case.
Yes freebies you have 2 places of i remember. Any case, we have a topic in freebies for the moment. And that remember me to check for the MEC4D freebies too; i believe it's ended.

Yup....two areas...I cleared out area one last night....will work on area two tonight.  As least I won't get order receipts from the second set since all you have to do is click on the item and it will download.  In the regular freebie section you had to put the items in your cart.  I ended up with 15 receipts.... :thud:

But the good thing is....it told me what I already had on the external so that saved me some space ...... as if I care  :tearlaugh: :tearlaugh:

Yes, i ended too with the freebie orders, those that i never took... and even if for some i have already in cards. No time to check when you're trying to save the maximum :psycho:  But even if i haven't some characters, i was entered in the "maybe one day" world :psycho:
And yes, poor externals! But like it's in another folder than usual folders to keep packs, i'll need to do the sort... one day.

I have been reading this magazine for a couple years and sponsor them a small amount of money monthly.  Very good choice and there freebies are very good, I haven't seen any poor quality items yet. The price is great it is free too.

:heeheehee: the DS creative magazine 22 (https://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_22) is online since yesterday.
I'll look and hunt freebies in pages.  :Hi5:

***********
Already one, uh for 1 hour of download :thud: :thud: :thud: Brief, follow the whispers to find it. It's a big pack, 187 Mo!

The second pack is for wild things. Don't know how many is its size for the moment

***********
And finally, after more than hour of struggle, the first pack is... a .exe file.

Other pack has a size of 20.8Mo . And it is only for DS4 users :sigh:

DS Creative 23 (https://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_23) is online.
I start to look it, and when i'll find freebies, i'll say you if it's only for DS4 or not.

*******
Edit: First pack is for G3F

The other pack is a corner of garden. Only 25.2 Mo but it's slow to download for the moment.
Bad new, this corner is also for DS4 users only.

Last for ever or just for now, we need to keep an eye on the site. Because before this magazine, there was another: "Digital artist magazine".
And the "DS magazine" was online no longer after.

Yes, I am hoping there will be more, those guys are really good if not the best, for me for sure.

I have to say that I got all the freebies, enjoyed nice pictures but will yet have to read trough those magazines and learn what I can. That will probably happen after summer, until then I will try to download and sort as much freebies as I can.

Take care if you took the "cocktail pack by Sixus 1 Media (page 23). Because the hurricane cocktail has a problem in its name in Geometries folder: S1M_SMMRCCKTLS_Hurricane. If you look to rename the object in fact it is S1M_SMMRCCKTLS_Hurricane with a space after the name.
I used the hurricane for one scene yesterday in DS3, and when i wanted to remove data folder, it was impossible. I can't rename the data folder or  :dustbin: it.
So if you wish to avoid this issue, go in your Geometries folder with the object, and rename it to remove the space after its name.

:jacko: An excellent surprise in this season! Yeah, the magazine is back!

So you have the september magazine DS Creative 24 (https://issuu.com/philatdsc/docs/ds_creative_24)

The next will be in November. Now it seems it's 1 all 2 months. Better than nothing  :witch2: Formula is also with 54 pages (compare to more of 80 pages before).

I'll look later in the day how many freebies they have, and if they have again. And of course if they are for Poser users also.

********
EDIT:
The only freebie is for G3M, in the first half of magazine. Around 206Mo of size :hypno:

Well finally from the last year we never saw the number 25.
However, a lot of freebies inside all magazines are always available. For this reason, I'll let the topic outside of archived freebies, and always sticked.
