The latest two points that he is going to have to get over is the incessant crap of turning over the water dish.

I don't get it, stainless steel bowl basically fairly heavy when full and all either of them do is paw at it as I can hear their claws tapping it and the next thing I know, especially if it is less then 1/2 full is that one of them tips it over.

His newest trick that is causing annoyance is that he is getting up on the computer desk, all right yes, if I am not around that is going to happen. The part that is annoying me is that apparently he is prancing about on the keyboards. He has managed to lock up Stormbringer once, and closed out all programs running.
The other system he managed to open no less then five windows and sign me out ??? :whatthe:

Haven't you the possibility to find something heavy even when empty to avoid they turn it over?
Puce turns regularly over the pot of catnip, so recently I have looked an found a kind of sandstone one. Tried and approuved.

For the other problem. Not all cats accept to obey and don't go where we don't want they go. It wasn't easy to learn to Puce and Giro to don't go on the table. But when came the time for the desk, they understood quickly it wasn't accepted. They tried a little, but we have find a deal: they don't go on, they have the square below the drawer, with a cushion. Like that they are near.
Smoky doesn't care of the clear "no" with the index up?
Or can you cover the keyboard with a kind of box, something not bending under the weight of a cat?

Hmmm, maybe I can put a rock in the bottom of it to give it some extra weight. Have some interesting stones from the Crazy Horse Mountain in South Dakota that could work.

So far all I can think of to do with the desk top is to move the keyboards to the top of the rack I built for the towers.

Your keyboards are wireless....Right.....Oh wait...this is "J" I'm talking to so they might be wired LOLOL.....

Simple solution...If wireless....turn that little switch on the backside of the keyboard to OFF....  If Wired...Unhook from the puter.

Takes two seconds to turn the keyboard back on in either case....

As for the water....all cats do that.....  Aelin hit it on the head....get a heavy stone bowl...They'll still make a mess with the water...but won't knock it over....

I use flat bottomed crockery bowls for my cat's food and water. Never had her turn either one over.

Excuse me silly rabbit both systems are wireless keyboard and mouse. :nanana:

Hadn't thought about turning them off that might just work.

As to the water bowl might have to look for a heavier bowl made of whatever material. Right now I have a large stone as mentioned in there now.

For some reason Oz LOVES water.   He'll play with his water, put toys in his water, play with the wet toys for hours....and then dip them in again :thud:

Haven't seen them turn the food dish over yet, or try. They are usually to busy scarfing it down to mess about like that  ...

The water dish is flat bottomed so that much is good, it is stainless steel and heavy "eh" sort of, the stone I put in there today will allow me to gauge how sturdy a bowl I will need to look for, it is just weird to see them tap the side or the surface of the water.. Not certain why they are doing that well, maybe it is to see where the surface of the water is before they drink. Not certain, I find it unusual, but then again theoretically I am human and my vision and senses are tuned differently.

Here Puce makes nothing with water, except drinks.
But Giro loves to sit before the bowl and wait wait wait. It's like if she is thinking before :tearlaugh:
