Title: Vue 3D
Post by: Aelin on November 11, 2016, 09:57:54 AM
Vue is a program i cross often on the 3D world, but i never used it. For people who don't know, you are able to create some wonderful landscape with it, and to modelize terrains also.

But you need to take care between "Vue 3D" (aka "Vue d'esprit") and "Vue" (for Visual Understanding Environment). It's not the same thing.
This one we look here is "Vue 3D".

Several versions of Vue 3D exist, like
- xStream
- Infinite
- Complete
- Pro Studio
- Esprit
- Pioneer
- Frontier (Vue 11).
You can look details on official site (http://www.e-onsoftware.com/products/vue/#Professional) new official site (https://info.e-onsoftware.com/more-info-vue)

They have a free version (http://www.cornucopia3d.com/products/vue/vue_2015_pioneer/index.php) , of course with limitations. For example, impossible to import 3d models, and a logo is posed on pictures.

A permanent free version of Vue is available: Vue PLE (http://www.e-onsoftware.com/try/vue_2016_ple/) (PLE for Personal Learning Edition).
Almost 1Go for the zip.

You have also Plant Factory 2016 R2 (http://www.plantfactory-tech.com/download/index.php?#PLE) (less than 700Mo for the zip).

And Cloud Factory Ozone 2015 (http://www.ozone-plugin.com/download/) (around 300 Mo).

It's possible to save what we do, export plants.
Renders and animations will have a watermark.

Like indicated by names, "personal" is only for a personal usage - non commercial use.

Thanks to J, we have the new links for the new site of E-on software
https://info.e-onsoftware.com/home

https://info.e-onsoftware.com/more-info-vue

Vue is now in a suscription mode - but the old versions might always work.
I don't know for the trial thing now how it works.
