Well, 5 episodes into series 7 and the Ponds are no longer with us (good storyline, didn't see that coming! and I'm really going to miss Amy too.)S4A, We also get Merlin across the pond on BBC America... But I've seen the entire series on ScyFy channel. Saw it clearly to the end of the series. You'll never guess the ending tho... It's an open ended. Don't know if it will be back this year on ScyFy to tie up the end neatly. :tearlaugh:
But now we have a break until the Christmas special, Luckily until then we have a new series of Merlin to keep us entertained on a Saturday night (not sure when you guys in the US will get it though)
*Spoiler Alert*
Is it showing what is happening to Morgana after she was exposed and defeated by Merlin (in disguise as an old man)? And the upcoming wedding of Arthur after he became King to the love of his life?
It's called The Snowmen. There's some great comedy between the Sontaran Strax and the doctor over a memory worm :)
The 12th Doctor will be revealed on Sunday 4th August in a BBC special!!!!!On your side of the pond... BBC America guide for tomorrow doesn't say anything of that except a line up of Dr Who summaries from the 1st to the 6th Dr Who. But I will keep my eyes out for that special. I've even set up the reminders for each of them so I can catch them even if I do forget them. (I suffer from CRC aka CRS syndrome at times :thud: ) Thanks for the heads up, tho. :hug3:
For those of us with no TV please do tell once the word is out.
I am referring to Doctor Who episode ... Fires of Pompei (or something) ... with David Tennant and Donna Noble .... this "new" doc was the father of the family they saved ... and Karen Gillian was one of the maidens who had eyes painted on their hands btw ...Yes, but that was like years ago... Since then maybe he will have enough acting chops to put to use when they develop the scripts around him just like they did with Karen... Maybe that will be forgotten also like with Karen. :tearlaugh: I am less likely to dismiss him as a Dr Who... since I've picked up after Tom Barker. Thought I wouldn't like any of the Dr's after Tom but I was wrong. I do like Chris, David and Matt. So, let's see, hmmm??? :icu:
So .. knowing that, I will be hard-pressed to see him as the Doc vs the father of the family ...
Incidentally it was also Patrick Troughton who first used the sonic screwdriver in "The War Games".
Maybe he is the Dr Zero, as the 10th Dr. (Matt Smith) said. "The very first Dr Who."
At long last .. Dr Who The Underwater Menace to be released ....
:sadder: ......... May 24 ..... :sadder:
I can't wait that long :thud:
