A note about using Chiron's horseshoes on other Figures.   Basically, Chiron's can be adjusted to fit ALL the equines hooves.  Even the MilFoal, Charger Horse, Poser Horse (yes that old nag!).  Then just make copies of the item in your preview area, position each to a hoof, parent to the HOOF, select your main Figure and save it out to your fave animals folder and it will always be properly shod!
Thank you again Chiron!

I'm blushing hot, McG... :blush2: ... yet, fickle as I am, the calked version I promised you is still in the limbo of my good intentions, which by now is overflowing like boiling milk

I'll see what I can do to overcome my weakness - perhaps you could help by forbidding me to work on that horseshoe any further...  :tearlaugh:

Forbid?   You've long outgrown the Colt stage buddy, I ain't forbidding you anything.  That's your Wife's job!   LOL!    That said I still have your first version, the calked shoe, installed alongside the flat shoe.  In YOUR folder!  They work quite well alongside each other.  I don't know anyone else that ever made a calked shoe for our hooved creatures.   Even the demon type creature at DAZ can now have proper hoof-wear.  See, your scaling (BEFORE Parenting!!!!) doesn't do weird things with the shoe, and in parenting it;  the item only moves with the hoof its parented to.
Good Job, whether deliberately or accidentally, Good Job!   :o)

I can see packaging the different shoes in the same zip file.

Thanks McG! I think it was deliberate: after all that's what parenting is for - at least in the 3D world. With offspring it's another story :insist:

Agree, but not that early chiseled calked version, too awkward and bulky. It should be a new slim relief-textured one. Let me give it a go, shouldn't take long

I recall some of the farriers in the area I grew up in had Pride Marks, not just a makers mark.  But something elaborate, to finish up a show.   You know the front and side leaves to 'stop' the shoe against the hoof?  Some of those ended up being more than just a little peck or peak.  You'd sometimes see a bit of scrollwork on a "fairing" like foreleaf.   Made for some very handsome hooves!

Yeah that's what I say!  HA!   Glad she'll love having your reigns too,  :haha:

Yeah, but somehow with SOME propped things, maybe SmartPropped? They don't always stay with the parent body part.  Results in a case of going back to beginning and reading the readme, then doing what IT said, and then the item don't stay stuck when posing.  That gets frustrating.   Your shoes stay where they are parented.  ON the HOOF.  Hard to mess that one up yeah!  But then when using canned (3rd party) or saved poses, items often misplace themselves.  Like some Hair sets do, even with Lock Object on. I feel almost like using your shoes on V4 even they look so good!  But, V4's shape and all that stuff.  Meh.

It's 2 am and I'm UP!   May as well go play in Poser a while.  :ifonly:
