I watched it 3 times that it was shown on that day... Each time I picked up clues and props from earlier Dr. Who episodes. The most obvious one was the introduction of the show. It was taken from the first Dr Who show broadcast. If you catch those clues peppered throughout the show, you're a true WHOVIAN! The first time I saw it, when Tom Baker came on, I screamed and jumped up! That sent chills! MY WORDS! What a treat!!!! Awesome is too mild a word to describe this special celebration.  :Hi5:

Now onwards to the Christmas episode. I don't know how they are going to top the 50th anniversary episode. Everything from here on out would be downward but hey, it would be a fun ride. I shudder to think that it could end (again).

P.S. What do you think about Rose Tyler as Bad Wolf? I remember the episode with the ninth Dr... That was epic too!

If it wasn't for all the crap I got on the computer I would have watched it several more times also, however I did catch that and so many other things that none but true Whovians would know that it wasn't funny.

The scrapyard the policeman walked by, the school where Clara was teaching, was the first ones after the title sequence it was so nice to see the original again.
The curator by Tom Baker was classic no doubt, especially how it was done with his back to the camera and you heard his voice first before seeing him ... it was magnificent.

Rose coming back was a treat as well, The War Doctor John Hurts line "The interface is hot" when he tried to touch the device was great especially when Rose replied "I try" or something like that .... again classic.

Quite a multitude of interesting tidbits to say the least and I loved that one article tipping the hat to the top flashbacks and nods to previous Doctors.
