Tell me about it I wound up buying the book on how to use it and taught myself and God above that was such a pain. Still have the program (2000i) haven't used it since my days at the electrical contractor so have most likely forgot all of it.

Never heard of MicroStation though

I know I'll probably get some flack for this but to put it in terms that might be easily recognized here:

MicroStation = Poser
AutoCAD = DAZ Studio

Ever once in a while I like to get a reality check since they make it seem like I am trying to teach them the Ugartic alphabet, and see if it really is that difficult and you all prove that one it is not quantum mechanics, or even gravitational mechanics and that people who have little to no exposure to this topic still know the answers.

Have you ever tried using Mnemonics to help them remember the wiring schemes? Some of the installers told me about such things.

I have a confession to make. In my undergrad years, I had taken an electronic wiring course and lab. *Blush* Of all the males in the class, I was the only one who created a new bell curve for grading (I was the only one on it. The males were on the other one. :tearlaugh: ) There was never a male A student but there was an A female student. :thud: Guess it was how my mind was "wired". (It must be genetic. My father was an electronic engineer)
When life gives you lemons, freeze them and throw them back at the bastards. :hawk:

No flack from me although I think AutoCad might be much easier the SPAZ Studio

All the time although the mnemonics can sometime be shall we say not suitable for mixed company.

One half of twenty five pair the tip side is suitable though

You have White, Red, Black, Yellow, Violet

so it can be either

Washington Redskins Brings You Victory

or

Winchester Rifles Brings You Victory

your call

:tearlaugh:

You go Hawk that is so what I like to hear and proves my point, that if they choose to, one can learn this material.
