I have to say this my friend; if you're daunted by the number of buttons in a modeling package then you'd soil your panties trying to use Maya (any version!) or 3DS Studios. Even more so in C4D.

If you ever decide to try them then please video tape it....I would pay money to see your expressions! Below is my VERY expensive choice of toys to play in.

Yeah, Blender is nothing on buttons compared to 3DS Max or Maya, or even Z-Brush.

The tutorials on YT are really quite helpful.

I like the more intuitive way of moving around in Blender A LOT!! There's a whole tutorial on how to move around in 3DS Max, whereas in Blender it's a mouse button and the Shift key if you want to rotate the view. That ROCKS! So, thanks for the heads up on Blender being improved. I like it.

Hope all goes well with your mum at the hospital, heddheld  :peek:

ZBrush????    :thud: Why didn't you just say you had ZBrush? It UV Maps and deals with normals as well...geezzzzz! Matter of fact, in ZBrush it's only two clicks!

Challenge?  :ummm: No challenge was issued. I did the example in 3 different programs in my tuts thread. They are there for anyone to learn if they wish; if not then that's fine too.
