For Halloween, news of 2014
« on: September 13, 2014, 10:18:49 AM »
I look sharecg today (i have not make this since days ^^" ) and i saw 2 packs which are great for Halloween.
But they demand little tranformations maybe, because they're in OBJ format.

Death carriage (no longer exist  :sigh: )

Fireplace   Ideal for Christmas too!
This by hypnagogia. You can use in commercial renders.

Actually Poser can read and import native .obj files with no problems.

Thanks for the links we do love that Carriage.

Another good one in .obj format

I haven't Poser, only Daz. And often i must change repertory for OBJ and their textures. And rarely, the size of object or building.

Ah my bad, I was uncertain as to which program you used.

It does not matter. Besides, I stayed mostly with DS3 because DS4 crash amid some reports.
So in a way, it's easier to keep a runtime with objects and ancient files, rather than a strange cluster of cases in duf and dsb

For me it is so much easier to work with .obj and native Poser formats, none of the DAZ stuff ever worked for me when I first tried it, as it crashed my system twice.

So I stuck with Poser and have been using it since version 4, which does predate DAZ, but I did give it a try for what it is worth, however never again, in fact I go through my files and when I see DAZ formats included I delete them as they serve no purpose so they be wasting space.

Indeed, some formats are not useful in Daz, like Daz scripts; they prevent a displacement of some files (even we change texture road in cr2, pp2 or pz2).
In my case, xmp are not useful, but i understand this only few month.  :tearlaugh: Few Mo are free now in my pc; but not totally in my external disk.

The bad thing on Daz, it's that i can't place my morphs, except if i tinker between DS4 and DS3.

It's possible, i don't know as it's the ancient (possible) name of site.
Just I know that somes products are in "Andi3d" files; and others in "Mortem Vetus" files. I thought that is a collaboration.

I am thinking it might be a name change as the style seems the same.
