Range of moutains

A new excellent tutorial for Howler is "Range of moutains"

It's for Howler 9.6 version, but it's possible with other versions. Just the step for color on far landscape need to know how create "3D render" in the program, with color maps, select alpha...

An example here.

Otherwise, this evening i find an other possibility compare to the "River canyon series".
It's similar to the gradient of video (around 8minutes 30) for old versiosn

Go in Window => Gradient Editor
then create yourself your gradient.
After, go in Window => Sweep Editor and when you see your gradient* (normally the first) go in
Filter => Color => Map to current gradient

* perhaps on your gradient you must go on "Value" tab. I don't try without switch over even if i don't change values.

With this, the gradient applies itself to the map. It's the result with the picture under.

I really need to sit down and work with some of these other goodies we have, this is looking mighty fine young lady.

Thank you! I like create landscapes, and the result is better than Bryce for me, for the moment.

I follow a new time this tutorial, and made a new picture in 1 hour (because i did other thinks in the same time). And i'm verry happy of result!  :happydance:
I leave you a picture after the end in "3D transform" and before the blush filter.
I show you too the final result.

Do you know, i followed the tutorial on plants example. Then i made a back to put the lens flare.
After, i would restart particules and surprise! All my plants were back when i use the particule. That it's a very good point!

I started with a version 8, one year ago. I had after a version 9.2, and between both, several things changed in better. But there? It's really a step of giant between Howler 9.2 and Artist 9.6!
Very more easily to compose a lanscape!
I imagine it's more easy also for the rest.
