Force limits
« on: September 20, 2015, 01:23:03 PM »
I try to learn how make a prop with turning doors. I have help for this (thanks to parkdalegardener) but my Poser is a rebel :psycho:
When i do OK for my limits and "force limits" (case is checked), always the case is unchecked by Poser. Then it keeps in memory limits that i ask, but not end to the turn  :thud:

Have you an idea of the origin of problem?

***********
Edit: all i find in the manula of Poser it's
"Force Limits: Check this option to keep the selected dial within the minimum and maximum limit settings."

It's that i make :really:

When you save the item to the library, and then reload it, are the limits gone?

I have no idea when or where I dealt with this. I've only just become a member here yesterday. I guess you never asked me where the original question was posted.

Since I've a mind like Swiss cheese I don't remember a bit of this, but to give an answer to a question that apparently no longer matters:

The quick and dirty answer is to open the pp2 in a text editor. Scroll down to where it says "forceLimits 0". Change this to "forceLimits 1" The min and max should be the limits you set already when you made your prop and not need to be changed.

Important: do not change the formatting of the pp2. Indents and spaces matter.
