I'll look into that, Rayvn. My search skill are still terrible. Seems like I can never get any better, as in know how to proceed with a search. I did only have one thing checked but it was the wrong one. :thud:
DAZ Studio, Bryce, Poser, Wings 3D, Howler, Blender, PSP, Hexagon, MSO PowerPoint & Word, just a few of the programs I use.

Well, like I said - it's a matter of being able to form a short-ish, clear and concise statement of what you want to know and type it in. It's no different than going to a hardware store and asking someone what aisle the power tools are on or what sort of bolts or screws to use on certain things.

"I want to hang a drapery rod with moly-bolts."

"How do I go about it and can you show me one? What are these 'expanding flanges'?"

Becomes:

"how to hang draperies with moly-bolts"

or "moly-bolt image"

It's not hard. Really.

I think I defeat myself often, because I get too specific? Also the search feature at different sites can be quite different, causing me to look for things not there, and not see things that are. It's a bit hard to figure out at times. Sometimes I get what I want right off, but most times not so much.

Speaking of "moly-bolt", that must be a localized term. I've been in home renovations and decor for years and this is the first time I have seen that term. I'll do a search using your suggestions and see what I can find. Seems interesting to say the least. No I don't want you to provide the info for me. I want to see if I can do it using your suggestions. If I find it, I'll post an image with a small comment on what I find out, but in a PM so as not to hijack this thread.

Like we don't do that all the time anyway. That's why we're keeping a list on the front page.

'moly-bolts', 'moly-screws' - they're made with molybdenum or molybdenum alloys.
