Just had a brief confrontation with a shaved ape that strained my rear-view mirror in attempt at creative parking...

"Violence is the favorite argument of idiots for it's the only one they understand"

And, on the opposite side of the IQ line,

"The more intelligent one is the less one suspects an absurdity" (Joseph Conrad)

"creative parking" - good one. I hope it wasn't completely detrimental to your day!

Perhaps in Joseph Conrad's time that was true. These days I have come to expect absurdity after absurdity from our powers that be.

I got a kick out of that one also.  I can see it now...some part time seasonal worker who is young saying that to a customer and the customer casting a spell on the way out.

That WOULD be a good one. You should make a render like that TL :winks:

No, just to my blood pressure. But the ape is probably still googling for some of the names I called him
And my wife took care of my, mmh... edginess by buying me a dinner at the local Greek restaurant. Small problem there for my Greek is about 3,000 years old and the waiter's German was, er... perfectible, but all in all it was good, relaxing and decently high-proof. The best part is, there was no police on the way back home  :yippee:

Maybe we should start splitting hairs on the difference between 'absurdity', 'nonsense' and 'moronicity'... just let me have a good night of sleep first, to allow the  :Cup: to fade away...

A nice Greek dinner sounds like a great way to unwind and get your BP down. I'm sure he is still googling the names - lol.

You do have a valid point regarding 'absurdity', 'nonesense' and 'moronicity'. Likely more of it falls in the latter category to be more correct.

And once the storm is over, you remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive.

And you may not even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person who walked in.

That's what this storm is all about.

- Haruki Murakami

That luminous part of you that exists beyond personality - your soul, if you will - is as bright and shining as any that has ever been ...

Clear away everything that keeps you separate from this secret luminous place. Believe it exists, come to know it better, nurture it, share its fruits tirelessly.

- George Saunders
