DAZ3D Millenium Dog Morphs
« on: January 22, 2017, 05:54:20 AM »
I was told that if I bought the Millenium Dog Bundle that included classic canines the morphs would work and they dont. All they do is change the colour of the skin of the millenium dog ugh. I have the puppies and in pose they have a dial which changes the dogs into different breeds. Before I burn my DAZ in hell forever does anyone know how to do it. I tried LE dog and the new dog, I tried selecting the dog and still nothing. I tried the subfolders like hip, head etc and nothing in there either. I do feel if they are charging $50 for a bundle the bloomin thing should work!  All help gratefully received x x x xThankyou.

It seems in the pack you obtain:
- Millenium Dog LE => only one shape
- Classic Canines Combo => clearly only textures
- Millenium Dog Starter Pack => this is the essential part

Normally you have with the "Millenium Dog Starter Pack" part:
- Millenium dog and its morphs

So what is the program you use? Poser, DS?
Have you dowload, unzip and instal the "Millenium Dog Starter Pack"?

Finally sorted it with help from a guy in DAZ forum. So if anyone else has this problem in the pose section in MAT Mill Dog you have the type of dog then further down you have the 'actor' or in some 'shape' and that transforms it. Yeah!!

I tested and refined a bunch of dog breeds for this animal a few years ago. It was a major project. I'll take a look and see if the product ever went commercial or was released as a freebie due to fracturing in the community. If it was a freebie or unreleased I'll see if I can find them. It was months of work and it would be a shame if they were unused.

Ok I found that a product was released from this work. Sadly it's $25. The freebie was never released. I'll take a look in my archives for the freebie files and get Lyrra to release them or do it myself if we reach agreement. The whole purpose was to release freebies of this work in the first place due to the failing support of DAZ for Poser figures. It wasn't supposed to be a pay product and the promo pic doesn't show the Superfly shaders I built. The bump is too bight in the Firefly image promoing the product. It is good though dispite the promo shot.

Yeah TB. I have everything, but due to a spat with the community it seems; I won't be giving these out any time soon. I was wondering why the freebie work turned into a pay product. I don't do Rendo much and forgot that the Poser/DAZ war has yet to end. People have to get over it.

That's a huge shame that I'm actually mad (not at you at all) about. I would have used the daylights out of them.

Hate to interrupt the discussion but there's a new canine on the market at Hivewire and Renderosity that is miles above the Mildog.

I bought it last week and am working on some new textures for it now.

I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
