Children are made to torn us :psycho: Don't worry about the tree.

No leaves aren't coming from Sculptris, I'm using Ivy generator leaves to add on the tree, keeping a part of branches coming with the ivy stuff; little branches to avoid an heavy thing (and they will be seen from far away compare to the trunk). I have to do adjustement on the texture for these branches, but like it's square, it's easiest than for tree.

I'm afraid to lose my hair with Blender for the moment, even with a guide :panic:

For the moment I made some other activities around, but I'm here.

lol for a trunk that size I's expect longer slimmer branches

u using a mouse or tablet ?? ........tablets a bit better if u got them skills (I haven't lol )
use long slow strokes scuptris can keep up with its toppo  but long branches
add shorter ones later if u want
start easy front back left right {dunno why but head went adroit/gauce kk spellin bad )
then use the move brush (forgot its name there is move in blender) add wiggly bits from all angles

one day I'll get u in blender and mtdana ;-)

I have just a laptop, no tablet. I read already a tablet is better but the budget is limited on this way :hypno:
So branches came as longer as the screen accepted to show them even with P command; for a reason I haven't found yet, the middle of the mouse wasn't able to zoom out when oriented for the top.

Brushes Draw and Grab mainly for the shape. With invert time to time.

kk lappy is fine u using mouse pad or a plug in mouse ??
using a finger on small pad is harder then a mouse with a tail
love ur English [almost hear the accent] but sometimes I not know what u mean
P command ??

is long time since I used that proggy hun
once u jump into blender everything else is merde ;-)

No no I know it's not the big pro tablet, but that don't change the budget.
And don't for the English :winks:

For Scultris like W3D the real only solution is the plug in mouse - at least it's the minimum for Sculptris.
On my previous laptop I had a great pad mouse, working like a plugin mouse.

P command, sorry.
It's the button on the keyboard which allows us to turn around all axis in Sculptris.

I abandonned Sculptris until these last days, where it was my last solution to work a trunk. First time I have "success" with it.

kk but ur happy in wings ...........so use it

make a circle [6 sides)
extrude in z short bits or one long bit then scale smaller then loop cut
to make lots of cubes up length
pick random squares an extrude on normal scale smaller that's ur main branches
aim for top third an pick no more then 3 on any ring
{is rules for plants but is always an odd one..branches at 60 120 other?? is mistakes but a perfect plant has its rules look at pics }
now use "soft edit or proportional edit " woteva its called in wings
now wiggle the trunk ~ branches ALWAYS on the normal
add smaller branches if u want  still on the normal
add some subD 2 levels should be more then enough
one tree all quads an easy to uv
ps I dunno if it was "fixed" but the stand alone ivy gen needed a triangle mesh
so it that's still the case then duplicated ur mesh triangulate it then run ivy gen
delete that mesh an keep the ivy it will fit

or learn to right click an I show u particle systems  :yikes:

how u doing then with scupltris ??
I tried that way I outlined and its incredibly tedious
blender has 2 tree generators now {sorta}
they do make great trees with a few clicks only
have shown u samples here one on left is from the old "sapling"
one on right is from the newer modular tree
all quad meshes
both add leaves but I prefer to add with a particle system lol

if u want these meshes to play with just yell an u can have them

I used a ball I have pulled in the top and bottom directions. And "pushed" to disminish the trunk width.
Then pulled the branches as mush as I could.

I finished to find too 2 videos which have guided me in Sculptris.
A few this

And more that (even if I haven't sculpted as mush as on video the trunk)

And I discovered after that how used the brush to disminish the mesh.

Thank you for your proposition, your trees seem great, but 95% of what I do end finally like sharing. And It's what I want to do with my tree.
