Darwinsmishap used this on his image he created and got an IOTW win for it. The veins in M4's arm are so well shown that they appear almost realistic. When he finds his own notes on settings and such this will get updated but for now give it a try and let us know how it went.

no since he responded in the May 22 awards section. He had a comp meltdown and had to install system again and lost his notes but this is the gist of  what he did (that he posted) and yup tis for D|S

With the M4 Displacement maps for D\S, I used the medium setting, then lowered it about twenty points.  You can do the same with the low setting, and up it some in the surfaces tab under Displacement.  Just be sure to check all the face, torso, and limb options.  I played with it until I got the right effect, and the lighting source helped soften them as well.  I used one UE light with one point light to the left and over his head, and a distant light from behind.  That was it.
