TL, before to start with Chrome, i taken time. Because i helped several weeks ago my aunt to install and use it.
No, my computer can't go on google and yahoo and wikipedia... a new time. And i replace the last flash at the minute on my computer.
If i want go on these sites, i must remove FF of my computer each time i light on it. Not a good way.
And explorer "jumps" when i start a session. I risk to froze the internet in a moment...

All those came after i take chrome; and more after i remove chrome of my computer. It's the last time i take this c**p browser it's sure.
It entered on Vista, and change my updates!!! I never ask this to it, i never allowed it to do this.

Let me do some looking around and see what others say about Vista and Chrome.   It's curious that this has happened....but like I mentioned....it must be something to do with Chromes configuration for Vista....or lack of it.

You wrote in the same time of me.
Vut it's not Vista who crashes chrome; chrome never crashes during my stroll on net. Just very slow.
No, it's chrome which touch to vista updates.
I'm disconnected of the net 3 times at the start of session. Then, computer will froze in 20 to 30 minutes. i start to know the process now...

I had previous to change of computer, but not before the next year. And even if it's the period of promotions...

LOL....great minds think alike.....  :so-shy:

I wasn't sure what did what so I started with that find.   A lot more items in there about Chrome and Vista.  I went to Firefox Browser and they came up with some items by typing in "Problems with Chrome and Vista"......

Of course, for each browser they avoid to say "it's the fault of the browser". It's sad to think like this but...
You know, i follow the instructions to support vista to repare the last problem of my afternoon. I take 1 hour at least, but no possibility to install the pack downloaded. Even with the safe mode.

And it's sure you have probably difficulty to think after all this road, but i know you try to help. DA tries too since the start but...
And this morning i cleaned very well and more with CCleaner. Always this problem of process. And readyboost too. This is those problems that are one problems, and give a froze session.
I think my last scene on computer stay non ended.

The sad thing is they keep making advances and when you think you have the most up to date computer around....something comes up and your back to trying to figure out how to make it work.  One of mine is only two years old and I swear I spend more time with updates on programs and security then I ever did before...but I do it.... and so far it's been a good machine for being a HP.....

Ever consider going to Dell or HP directly?   I "Build" my own on their sites and I normally have the computer in about 3-4 days.

Not by the web. "La poste" cast packs more fragile like others.
A friend send me a fragile object recently, with many protections around... and at the coming, a part was broken.
Same thing with societies of delivery, i see this at job  :thud:
I have confiance in HP or Dell, they seems very good computers. But not in the chains between them and me.
And last point: no card to pay on wec :psycho:

But sometimes, we have Dell in shops.

I know in France never buy Acer.
And if i find a Compaq, Futjutsu or IBM, perhaps i take too.

My very first computer was a Compaq.....  I believe HP brought Compaq and discontinued the brand in 2013.  And yes....NEVER buy an Acer.....  My brother owned one for about a year and threw it out the window.....from the third floor....He thinks it started breaking apart before it hit the ground  :tearlaugh:

I read many bad news on acer computers all these years. And the garantee service :really: In France people send the computer, and when the computer is back, it's scarred and broken always on the same zone. I see several testimonies.
And i will not go in a Carrefour shop. They're buy in these shops, normally not in other places.

that is for sure...NEVER, did I say NEVER EVER buy a Gateway or Acer---Gateway was bought out by Acer cause they are made to fail.

Thee was a law suit recently where people were awarded some payment becasue it came out that Acer packs its computers with installed software---much is acer stuff not just OS and not a large enough hard drive. Although you could remove some things it then tends to not work later one.

If it breaks you do not get much help and not like most places where they pay shipping Acer does not and then when you do get it back it doesn't last long. Our acer made it just a few days over its 1st b'day then died.

Has anyone heard of iBuyPower comps, they can be made to order, pricey but friend is interested and I sure never heard of them or how reliable they are.
Fear not,
You are never alone,
I am there to comfort and guide you...
Always.
