The lights on the security unit all went green. The screens within the cockpit illuminated. With a low hum, the environment generators started.
"S448, please open the port access stairway," said Albany.
All three of them had to rapidly move back as the ship complied.
"I am Commander Albany MacPherson, 29175-551. I request permission to come aboard with the intention of departing this ship."
"Permission granted, Commander MacPherson. Welcome aboard."
Both of the other two asked and received the same permission.
