As Eve returned to the hanger, her sense of embarrassment rose. This was the first time others would see her with her new appearance.
Albany was in deep conversation with Daniel, the hanger manager. There was a new tall guy with them.
The two maintenance bots looked up when they heard her boots on the walkway but the others hadn't noticed.
"I'm ready to get back to the station, Commander," Eve said as all heads turned her way.
