Post Op Celebration

Most of the biologics from both teams gathered in Deck A mess to celebrate, drinking their favorite poisons and discussing the operation.
Bill was positive that this was the work of the Caleuche. John was not so sure.
"The Hellfire completely destroyed the ship that attacked us. Why do you think it was a Caleuche vessel? There was no debris larger than a half centimeter."
"There was a ship on the opposite side of Arcturus 4 from the station that the base AI detected. By the time he had scrambled the fighters, it was gone. The AI said that it had shown a likely Caleuche FTL signature."
Taryn thanked Annika for letting her use the armor. She politely didn't mention how ill fitting it was, thankful to have had any armor during the attack.
Everyone else listened as Bill and John continued the discussion. Since they were old friends, all knew it would go on for a while.
