Albany picked up the nearest 2-ORANGE unit and turned it over.
She'd taken robot repair at the Naval Academy and knew about the reset sensor in the bottom of 2-ORANGE units. She tapped it in the prescribed sequence. The 2-ORANGE unit's eyes lit.
"Naglfarian or Terran?" it asked, upside down and facing away.
"Terran. Can you charge from the ship's field?"
"Yes. It'll be about 30 minutes as I have been off for seven years."
"I'm going to sleep while you charge. I've been hit by a stun grenade's blast and my head is killing me. I'm Albany."
"2-ORANGE-7. Please to meet you."
Albany set the 2-ORANGE unit upright on the end of the bunk, stretched out on the not very clean vinyl surface and was instantly unconscious.
